Adam Navara

Adam Navara, Ph.D. is a Policy Advisor for the Health Care and Public Policy Team at Alston & Bird. In this role, he advises organizations that include academic research centers, medical device companies, and patient advocacy groups on changes to federal laws and regulations that dictate funding for biomedical research, health care coverage and reimbursement, and health data privacy.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Navara was an IEEE-USA Congressional Fellow from 2023-2024, where he covered health and technology policy issues for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Dr. Navara earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University in 2023, where his research focused on materials for 3D printing engineered bone and cartilage tissue. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
