Dylan Sisson

Driven by a fascination with the intersection of art and technology, Dylan Sisson has carved a unique niche in the digital art world over the past 25 years. His journey began in the 1990s with the creation of several independent animated shorts which led him to join Pixar’s RenderMan group in 1999. Dylan’s role at Pixar has allowed him to influence Pixar’s core rendering technology, RenderMan, and push the state-of-the-art in computer graphics. In addition to his role at Pixar, today Dylan is an active artist exploring emerging media, VR, and stylized rendering. Dylan is also the creator and designer of Pixar’s RenderMan Walking Teapot.
