Gabrielle Bachand

Gabrielle is an engineering lecturer with the University of Nevada, Reno. She completed her B.S. degree in chemical engineering and her M.S. degree in materials science and engineering with her research focusing on the fabrication, testing, and characterization of lithium-ion battery materials. Her industry experience includes working in sustainable engineering design with Disney Imagineering and working in quality assurance for lithium-ion battery manufacturing with Panasonic Energy of North America. With the University, Gabrielle teaches courses focusing on technical communications, engineering societal impacts, and sustainability.
