Masoumeh Esfahani

Masoumeh (Shahrzad) Esfahani is chair of IEEE Maine Women in Engineering Affinity Group and Secretary of the Maine Section. She received her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Maine in 2014. She has worked as project engineer and later as Chief engineer for Activas-Diagnostics, a biomedical device company. Her work involved hardware test and maintenance as well as managing the engineering team in collaboration with the clinical group. Shahrzad was inducted into the HKN honor society in 2024.
