Nate Gostin
Nate is a system integration physicist in IonQ‘s Quantum Networking, Sensing, and Security division, and has been working with trapped-ion quantum systems for three years. He received a BS in Physics from Georgia State University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Applied Physics. He previously worked at Georgia Tech Research Institute’s Quantum Systems Division, where he assembled a novel cryogenic vacuum chamber for environmental isolation. He specializes in distributed quantum computing (DQC) systems and quantum networking. Aside from trapping ions, Nate also enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and fixing broken cars.
